What does Phat Brass look like?Phat Brass is usually a 5-7 member band: Brass and wind instruments supported by drums, with occasional vocals by the band members. We pride ourselves on being flexible: We can configure as a trio, and up to larger 8+ member bands. Our setlist is mostly covers of well-known popular music.

What is the difference between Phat Brass on stage or roving?ON STAGE Phat Brass engages audiences with a calculated balance of originality and well-known melodies. Our broad experience performing on stage means Phat Brass is one of the most flexible stage acts around. ROVING Our roving band keeps audiences energised during stage reconfigurations and as patrons move around an event site. The all-acoustic nature of the roving band means Phat Brass can be anywhere at any time, engaging all areas of the audience before and after other acts.

What are Phat Brass's tech requirements?On stage, we use a drum kit and require power for microphones. Sound and lighting personnel may be required. When roving, we usually don't need power or staging.

What other considerations are there in booking Phat Brass?Event schedules are arranged in advance where possible! We usually plan to arrive 30-45min before we are due to perform, except when a soundcheck is required earlier. Break times may be negotiated to ensure we can maintain a high quality performance. Other considerations may include: Parking for the band's members and crew Travel costs (fuel or flights) Accommodation Food and drink, or subsidies
